Not that I care about too many of the side stage bands this year (Anthrax, As I Lay Dying, and Whitechapel are the only ones I want to see), but having them run through the main stage is just fucking stupid. The way they ran it the past three years was perfect and I don't understand why they would change it.

If Anthrax and Motorhead overlap eachother I really might have to just skip this, don't have my ticket yet and I'm already more interested in Shockwave Fest the day before.

Yeah, I just listened to the interview, and he did say the side stages would go 'up until Slayer,' and talked about having more time in between bands. I kind of hope he misspoke, otherwise that means I'm going to miss Motorhead every night, we'll see.

In other news, here's my arm and my tent, was setting up my stuff at the Metal Blade offices last week - got all our CDs and vinyl in (including Slayer vinyl and Japanese import Slayer CDs), clothing merch comes in tomorrow.

I may have not heard him correctly, but I thought he said "3rd stage" not side stage - which would be fine with me

Haven't they done it this way before? In 2008 I remember Machine Head's set on the Jager stage finished right before Dragonforce's set on the main stage.
