Yup. Exactly. There was a time when Hot Topic was a pretty fucking cool. I'm talking about 1999-2001 era, they had some really awesome shirts back then. I remember I got some really cool Metallica shirts there back in 2001, and they also carried some pretty dope Judas priest shirts too, same with Sepultura. There was a time when Hot Topic was a keeping it real store, now i wouldn't dare step foot in one of those places, that place is garbage now, sadly...

Fuck, this is a huge bummer for me. I've toured with HOF before so I knew them best out of any of the other bands, and I'm friends with their merch girl, too. I was just listening to some of their stuff today to get further stoked for the tour. I hope the replacement is someone awesome. But they have the opening second stage slot, which may not be super appealing to the better bands who don't yet have summer plans, so it's possible it could just be stuffed with filler. Hopefully they don't do that.

Anyone want to start making guesses?

I don't know how that pertains to the thread but at least for the past 8 years or so it's always been an emo/goth/candygirl surplus store along with some good shirts.
