Fun fact, on Mayhem 2009, Slayer would open with "Disciple," which had the "Darkness of Christ" intro played beforehand. They would pump the intro directly into the soundboard via...a pink iPod Nano.

I'm oddly addicted to going onto the dates list for Mayhem - http://rockstarmayhemfest.com/dates - and going to 'buy tickets' on each city, and looking at how most of them now, the ones that use the LiveNation ticket system, have the thing where you can click on exact seats and see how many are sold/taken/available. It's interesting to see which markets are selling better than others. LA is doing well, Houston is doing well, Boston and Tampa are looking slow so far, but they're later in the tour. It's just interesting to me, maybe no one else cares. I always wonder how well shows are doing beforehand.

Fuck yea man, I hate it when people say its super lame to get your favorite band tattooed on your body, and trust me dude, I've heard that shit before. Pisses me the fuck off. If you truly love something with all your heart, why not show your love for it by expressing it in a way that some just won't understand. Tatoos are a form of way to express art, show your love for something, whether it has a meaning to it, or a hidden meaning. Any kind of tattoo has a meaning of importance of sorts, Tattoos are put simply, a form expression, to show your love for something in a way that some people just won't understand it.

You have no idea how pissed i get when i hear "thats lame to get a band logged on your body". Logo? You call it logo, I call it expressing yourself, assholes.

I would love to see the pantera tattoos , and iron maiden.

Most of my friends are covered in tattoos, I never got any. Everyone in Brooklyn had tattoos. My bosses had tattoos. I had a moment where I felt I should get some but it passed and I'm glad I didn't, I don't think they'd look good on me.
