also what does the beaumont closing have to do with Mayhem Fest not coming here.

Zombie, Deftones, Bodom, Behemoth, Amon, Battlecross - for me thats a great line up. Of course there will be a few bands I don't like but that comes with the territory on these festival tours.

There is no official lineup released yet.

Also: bands that tour all the time + Mayhem Fest repeats doesn't scream "omg best tour of da year" to me at all.

They're a mediocre-on-tape-but-at-least-fun pseudo-thrash/melodic metalcore band. They played their first show outside of their hometown, I think, when they flew to KC to open the Goatwhore/Hate Eternal show at the Beaumont last year when Cerebral Bore and Fallujah had to drop off. They were also on another tour that hit the Granada...Metal Alliance maybe? Either that or Occupation Domination. They aren't great, but I'd much rather see them than a ton of other boring, shitty opening bands.

Valient Thorr might be one of the most fun bands I've ever seen live! They killed it so hard at the Record Bar. One of my buddies might be the biggest Thorrior on the face of the planet.

I'm just saying calling a tour with no announced bands the best tour of the year is a bit silly.
