Jasta said during the Hatebreed show in Chicago tonight that Hatebreed will be on Mayhem next year and hopefully at that time also they will be supporting their new album.

More like a 0/1. This will mark Hatebreeds 3rd time playing this festival. This festival is too overhyped, I mean shit that last one just happened. Should we activate Summer Slaughter and Warped Tour speculations as well?

It may be overhyped but they do bring some good bands. I mean festival wise with how many there are now its not odd to see bands repeating often enough. Oddly enough Mayhem is the only fest Hatebreed can really fit into anyway.

Also this isn't speculation, this was from Jamey himself on stage.

They have brought some good bands over the years, but you know what? They all tour the US on a regular basis with better lineups.

Yeah really. On these Mayhem Fests there's only about 2 to 3 bands worth seeing, and they're so for down on the bill they only get like 30 to 40 min to play, with the exception of Slayer. This year's was the only Mayhem fest i went to. Showed up at Anthrax, and left after Slayer. The crowd seemed like they were mostly casual Slayer fans. Mostly kids that were into the metalcore stuff and Slipknot, not my thing... I'm just gonna wait for the bands that i want to see do their own headlining shows. It sucks because the last few times Slayer toured the States was at these festivals, besides American Carnage and that was co-headlining too...
