Manks and I were talking last night and outside of Abbath, we couldn't think of anyone realistic that they could have headline that isn't a repeat.

I saw so many people post about a Sentenced reunion.

That's going to be a tall order to fill considering that guitarist and songwriter Miika Tenkula has been dead for 6 years.

I know they played before but Hail of Bullets should headline one of the nights. Throw in Abbath and King Diamond to round out the other two ngihts at the Edison Lot.

Asphyx would be much more of a headlining act chance than Hail of Bullets. They simply aren't popular enough to be one of the top 3 draws responsible for getting people to go across the country. To be fair, the MDF "Brand" is probably to the point where they don't need to knock it out of the park on the headliner front. I can't see someone like King Diamond since he's selling rooms that are half of the capacity of MDF by himself. Mercyful Fate perhaps, but King's making too much money touring off a new record to be affordable for MDF.

I'd love Asphyx, but I know they just played last year, that's a little too soon to bring them back. Hail of Bullets would be so damn cool. but I guess the more I think about it, they would have more of a spot where Locked Up played this year.

If King Diamond only did one show next year, or if Mercyful Fate played, the Edison Lot will be filled up quite nicely.

And Abbath doing is humping motions will be cherished by all.

Asphyx played two years in a row 2009/2010 so anythings possible. I'd love to see them again.

Since we're just throwing stuff out there.... do you think a Dismember reunion would be big enough to headline?

I'd say close to top, but more of a main support slot.

I REALLY hope they get Slough Feg to play..

Hail of Bullets would be awesome to see too-

Although for headlining acts, I think Abbath is definitely a possibility. I would LOVE for them on the rare chance to book Sodom again and it actually work. Aside from that- Maybe Emperor, Autopsy, Mercyful Fate, Grim Reaper, Satan, Destruction, Diamond Head, Blood Ceremony, Sleep, Witchfinder General would all be awesome.

I remember in an interview last year King Diamond said he wanted to get Mercyful Fate back together at some point to do "select shows" which would be awesome. They tried to book just King Diamond a few years back but with his whole stage show they said his price was completely out of the question
