Yes, and nope. Never really considered that a multiplayer aspect. Just another thing to be controlled in the single-player game.

Well, true, but the game was definitely easier if you had a human partner. Otherwise, she uses items completely irrationally, and just soaks up ammo and health items.

The game was still pretty easy, for the most part. The only exception being the bosses, most of which I beat on my first try (except Wesker).

The real problem I had with RE5 was that everything was so tedious to complete. Enemies just take forever to die, but it's not like it was challenging, everything just became a long drawn out process of running back and forth getting a hit every now and then. Killing with the knife became a standard in RE4 once I mastered the game, in RE5 it just feels like a waste of time considering how long a simple enemy takes to die. The most fun part for me was The Mercenaries.

I still liked it and completed it a bunch of times in both co-op and single player, but it was probably due to me thinking RE4 is the best game ever.

Anyone else watch the gameplay demo videos from ComiCon for this? Not sure I'm impressed Too many changes to gameplay for the sake of it again. Although movement does look a lot freer.

From what my friend has played of the beta he said it no longer feels like a horror game. It is just now a straight up action game.

Also no more herbs = health. This new one is regenerative health.
