THE ORIGINAL LINEUP OF RIGOR MORTIS IS LEAVING TOMORROW MORNING FOR EL PASO. WE WILL BE ENTERING THE STUDIO AND RECORDING FOR THE NEXT 2 WEEKS. THIS WILL BE THE 1st ALBUM WITH THIS LINEUP SINCE OUR DEBUT SELF-TITLED ALBUM THAT WAS RELEASED ON CAPITOL RECORDS. THAT ALBUM WAS RECORDED EXACTLY 24 YEARS AGO. IT'S BEEN A LONG-TIME COMING... BUT WE PROMISE WE WILL NOT DISAPPOINT OUR LOYAL FANS!!! RIGOR MORTIS IS OFFICIALLY BACK FROM THE GRAVE!!!

I'm more than fucking excited for this. It's been a while, so who knows how good this could turn out, but the original line up on this is very, VERY promising. I'll keep details posted as I find out more information. But this pretty much made my day. I knew for a while that they were gonna put out a new album, it was only a matter of time before they announced they were gonna start!

Cool. I still have to listen more seriously to their albums, but from what I remember it kicked ass.

Their self titled debut is amazing, one of my favorite thrash albums ever. The Freaks EP is great as well. I don't really like Vs. The Earth but the guitar solos on there are still crazy, so that's something good.

So the new album is finished! They're gonna announce the album title, song titles and release date soon. What's even better is that they're planning to tour once the album is out!!!
