Has anyone else seen Brave? While I didn't think it was as bad as Cars 2, I would say that it is the blandest Pixar film. There was not much to like about it but at the same time there was nothing to hate about it, it just lacked anything that makes a movie interesting really...just "meh"

It really sucks that I'm going to have to now think twice about seeing a Pixar film

If they made Bane do what he did to Batman to the comics that would be epic.

I don't think he's gonna break Batman's back but I know Batman is gonna get fucked up.

Come on... I agree that both of those guys were perfect for their respective performances, but the Tim Burton movies are a little cheesy (I know it's based on a comic... whatever) and the cartoon is only a vocal performance. Ledger nailed exactly what was called for, and it was awesome/disturbing to watch.

This. I thought The Dark Knight was a bit overrated as a whole, but Ledger's performance was absolutely perfect.

Anyways, I saw Savages last night and I liked it quite a bit. It takes a little while to get going, but the second half of the movie makes it worth while (The ending is going to piss a lot of people off, but I loved it. Really unexpected for this type of movie.) A definite return to form for Oliver Stone.

Not a huge fan of Spider-Man, but I thought the new one was really good. Can't really compare it to the Raimi trilogy though, because I've only seen the third one.

I actually agree with you to an extent on the "feel" of the movie. It was darker than I ever remember Spider-Man being. Maybe a bit too dark.
You're saying that you expect Hollywood to portray high school accurately? Really? Care to re-think that one and get back to us?
I thought the CGI was fantastic, personally. I specifically remember there being a point during the movie where I paused to think to myself, "Jesus Christ, the things they can do with CGI nowadays".
