One or two of the artists here will be featuring in this thread. Solitude Productions, a doom label from Russia, released a free MP3 download compilation of songs from albums they put out in 2011 on Christmas Eve.

In particular, Funeral, Fangtooth, Stangela and Heavy Lord are awesome.

Fangtooth will not appear in this thread though as their album was actually independently released in 2009.

Time for another one.

This was probably always destined to be one of the best doom releases of the year. Only their third effort, put off for years because of the various members other commitments (in Opeth, Candlemass and Therion) but it's probably their most definitive release in terms of finding their own style.

Mentioned this one in HB's funeral doom thread.

This is a collection of songs originally written and recorded in 1996, some of which were put out on a demo in 1997. The sessions were known as the 'Academy' sessions, with female singer Sarah Eick, and later they re-recorded some of them with Frode Forsmo, the singer on the last three albums, and some with Oysten Rostad, who never went on to record a proper album. They've been remastered here, and one other track from the original '97 release has also been remastered with Eick's original vocals.
