Impending Doom

Opening for Norma Jean, along with Stick To Your Guns, Of Legends and The Runaway Sons.

At least with JFAC you still get the Morbid Angel ripoffs. With Impending Doom, you just get straight, no-frills, lame deathcore. I actually had higher than normal hopes (for a deathcore band that is) for them live, but they just played basically the same breakdowns over and over. Yawn.

Original Review
Saving grace: None

By the way, I've seen Vektor open for JFAC when they were both nothing but shitty AZ bands

Well honestly, that was when JFAC seriously sucked hard. But looking back they were probably both opening for Vehemence, so...

BE JELLY.

All Shall Perish

Opening for The Black Dahlia Murder, along with Cannabis Corpse and Marasmus.

I even listened to some of their new album and thought it wasn't horrendous, but man they are live. Supremely boring with supremely boring breakdowns thrown in as well. Where is all this technical amazingness I've heard so much about? How come they were better when I saw them open for JFAC 3 years ago? I couldn't tell you, but they honestly ruined the concert for me.

No original review, sry
No saving grace, they actually made TBDM less enjoyable for me.

I'll second this, but I saw 'em at Mayhem Fest. They have some cool tech shit, but they just play the breakdowns for the kiddies at shows. Shit is gay as fuck, nigga.

Wow, All Shall Perish were one of the best bands I saw live this year. Maybe 'cause it was in Peabody's and it was packed and everyone was stagediving and having a good time? Definitely a great crowd.
