I just gave this another listen. It's quite good, actually. Given more time, this may have really crept up my list. The vocals kept me away from it after the first few (albeit half-hearted) attempts, but I'm really starting to see the appeal here.

Ah well - I chose to omit quite a few albums like this from my list this year completely, because I don't have enough "evidence" to warrant ranking them highly, and I don't want to rank them low just because I didn't have a chance to listen to them more.

Anyway, nice pick.
