8. NAYSAYER - DOWN BUT NOT OUT

A follow up to 2009's No Remorse EP, this EP was released early this year by Richmond's gritty, Madball-worshipping Naysayer. Four quick, pummeling, mosh-worthy tracks of hardcore awesomeness- just how a 7" should be. Naysayer followed up in August actually with their first full length LP, Laid to Rest, which contained half of this EP, but I honestly like this EP better. The production is grittier and rawer, and the tracks they omitted were really awesome. I could have seen them with the Mongoloids open for Agnostic Front this fall, but I had to miss it due to too much homework due the next day. Definitely on my list of bands to hit up live.

Notable Tracks:
Your Fate
Down But Not Out
