24. Scar Symmetry - The Unseen Empire

Drummer Henrik Ohlsson states that the title of the album "seeks to expose the hidden hand of the elite that pull the strings of mankind in order to fulfill their agenda of global domination".
Knowing my views how could I not love an album with this concept. I love the concept of all their albums.

Illuminoid Dream Sequence

Seers of the Eschaton

Astronomicon

Rise Of The Reptillian Regime

I used to really like Scar Symmetry but their style un-grew on me and I can't really dig them anymore.

I love The Unseen Empire. It took a while to grow on me because at first it seemed excessively melodic and not quite as heavy as DMD, but after a few listens I fell in love

22. Symphony X - Iconoclast

Iconoclast

Children Of A Faceless God

Prometheus (I Am Alive

Reign In Madness

21. Megadeth - TH1RT3EN

I'm surprised to rank Megadeth so low in the list, but this album could have been better. Mustaine could have done alot better with songs like We The People and New World Order, not bad songs but he wrote songs like Hook In Mouth, Endgame and Washington is Next etc so when it comes to politics and the new world order I know he can write great songs about it.

Sudden Death

Never Dead

Wrecker

Millenium Of The Blind

Deadly Nightshade

20. Obscura - Vortex Omnivium

I don't like a lot of death metal, but Obscura is good. They have a death metal sound but I also hear a lot of progressive metal it them. So it is different from other Death Metal I have heard.

Septuagint

Ocean Gateways

Prismal Dawn

I found Th1rt3en to be painfully mediocre.

I found Thirteen to be mediocre, but I wouldn't go so far as to say painfully so. It has its share of fun moments.

Omnivium on the other hand...

I really enjoy pretty much every song on the album besides Sudden Death and Black Swan. Black Swan is good but it's the exact same song I've had for years so I always skip it.

I don't know if it really bothers me that you have Iconoclast all the way back at #22... or that "When All is Lost" isn't one of the four songs you posted.
