The Nat approves this message.

(Plus, it was at the bottom of the page. I had to quote you so people would see your statement of fact for a while longer! )

Listened to the new STYG and it's actually quite good. Better than Hope Division though towards the end it looses a little momentum.

Need to give it another listen today before I post my full thoughts, but overall I loved it. Parts of it I still really disliked (I'm not a fan of his singing), but overall it's better than the Hope Division. I want STYG to have this very specific sound and style, and they're so close to having it, but I know inherently they're not gonna ever get it, if that makes any sense. Basically, I want them to have a more melodic hardcore sound without the singing. They know how to write good mosh parts.

Yea I'm not a fan of the singing or the parts towards the end that are really no instruments and just screaming.

I actually love the samples they use from the Dalai Lama and all that. I like how they kept them on in this album! Think I'll post a review thread tonight if I have time, for anyone that cares. And I'll add my review of Meshuggah. Hint: it starts with an 'm' and ends with an 'eh'.
