Sample of a new Running Wild song:

I'll be honest, I try to not be as negative as possible with anything, but god FUCK. That was awful. Something tells me the new album is going to piss me off.

EDIT: But on a more positive, unrelated note, I finally got around to listening to the new Corrosion of Conformity and it's great!

I hope the release date is somewhere around the Origin tour, so I can pick it up when they come through.

Agreed. It was done by Sebastian Jerke, who did artwork for Long Distance Calling. The artwork is fine, it's just not what I have in mind when I think of Ahab.

Regardless, I wouldn't be surprised if this album is their best yet.

To be released in North America officially on April 17th (and around the same time in the EU via Invictus Productions), tracklisting for “Three & Seven” goes as follows:

1. The Sea of Snakes and Souls
2. The One Who Sleeps
3. Shroud of Sorrows
4. Dreamland in Flames
5. Living Portrait
6. Double Walker
7. Three & Seven

This will be interesting.
I think "interesting" will be a pretty accurate way to describe it. Profound Lore called it a haunting mindfuck.

During the recording of the album, the band decided to record a cover of The Cure's "The Drowning Man." It won't appear on Three & Seven, but Profound Lore said it might appear on something down the line on some sort of release.

Can't wait for the new Cattle Decapitation! The Harvest Floor blew my mind and there's really nobody else out there that sounds like them.

Agreed.

Good news for vinyl fans as well, as it looks like the first two records are going to be repressed. I hope this happens, as I would prefer not to spend more than 100 bucks for an original press.

The one track which is streaming is quite a "mindfuck". E.M from Negative Plane plays for them so that shouldn't be a surprise I suppose. The female vocals are shall I say, unique for the musical tapestry that is woven beneath it.
