Sadly I don't really have time to get into a detailed review now. This show came at the beginning of a very hectic and busy weekend. So for now I'll just leave the setlist, a couple pictures, and just say that this show was OUTSTANDING. This was one of the most fun, high-energy shows I've ever been to. Absolutely awesome, I'm so glad I went.

Long Before I Die, Raising fear, and Over the Edge were selected in what was hands-down the coolest thing I've ever seen a band do. At 3 separate parts of the show, they picked one fan out of the audience to come onstage, pick the next song out of a list of like 11 songs (also included: Book of Blood, Dropping Like Flies, Tainted Past, Aftermath, Human Vulture + 2 or 3 more) and then spend the duration of the song onstage rocking out with the band. This was SO fucking cool of them to do.

Highlights of the show for me were Head On, Last Train Home, La Raza (which featured the band's drum tech on a various assortment of percussion), Reign of Fire, and Mad House.

Yes, they do but they've got some rebuliding to do though. Coming out with a new album once every ten years doesn't help keep a fanbase. Hopefully they can get something new out next year and get on a decent tour to let people know that they're still around and introduce them to a new generation of fans. How long is this tour they're on now going for? I checked their web page about a month or two ago and it didn't have anything.

Anthrax and Armored Saint US tour next year, who's with me?

I remember when John Bush turned down the offer to return to Anthrax in 2009 he said he doesn't really wan't to commit to a band now and just be with his family. I think he just wants to do Armored Saint shows on occasion.

Glad to see you had a great time! Armored Saint never give a less than outstanding live performance.

Sanitarium, while I agree that it would be great if the band got another record out and did a full tour, John simply has no desire to. Joey also commented that a tour might mess with the really good relationships the band members have with each other right now.

Yeah, I know about that. It just seems that if he's willing to come out from the west coast to play a show in Allentown of all places, he might be opened to getting on the road more. I think they eventually will do a full tour. Bush alone has too much passion in what he does for him to stay away from touring forever.
