Unhappy RIP Robin Williams

Apparent suicide. I'm in shock. One of the funniest people to ever walk the earth.

But in all seriousness:

Good stuff.

One of my favorite comedic actors. Even when he did serious roles he was fantastic. The fact it was a suicide makes it even sadder. Comedians usually suffer depression more than anyone else in entertainment.

How bad is it that the "It's Not Your Fault" scene from Good Will Hunting struck my head the second I realized that this was real?

I'm in complete shock right now. His immense comedic presence made even shit movies like Flubber and RV tolerable. Such a heartbreaking loss.

It's kind of weird seeing all these people talk about Robin Williams as a comedic actor. Like, I get that his biggest films were Mrs. Doubtfire, Flubber and Aladdin, but he strayed quite a bit from that in recent years with films like One Hour Photo, and his (IMO) best roles were in Good Will Hunting and Dead Poets Society.

I also haven't seen any of the Night at the Museum movies though.

What the fucking fuck? Suicide?

Very shocking news, he was a very talented performer. Whether it was comedy or drama the man always put his all into whatever he was doing.

RIP

This is such sad news. I've been personally affected recently by suicide and depression so this is hitting very very close to home. He was such an awesome actor, and a personal favorite of mine. So so sad.

Well his career did start with him playing Mork on Happy Days and then Mork & Mindy and then he went on to be one of the most popular stand up comics of all time. But yes, his dramatic roles were great too.

RIP. Depression is a serious issue not to be taken lightly.

When I said one of the funniest men ever, I was getting at more toward his stand up performances (although Mrs. Doubtfire is a classic and Jumanji is probably my favorite childhood movie)

Robin Williams: Live on Broadway is the single funniest stand up performance of the 2000s. It's not even close.

Oh yeah, I'm not saying his comedic performances were bad or anything. To be honest, I watched Mrs. Doubtfire not too long ago and it still 100% holds up today!
