Best hard/rock metal performance: Grammy nominees

ok.....so.....I'm not posting this because I care about who wins a Grammy, but can someone explain to me how Foo Fighters and Sum 41 qualify as hard rock/heavy metal? Or how the new RHCP album made it on this list when it blows dick compared to what John Frusciante put together? I hate the media and pop culture so much....

Well,... it just goes to show that the grammys are still pathetic, worthless, meaningless, and irrelevant more than ever.
I dont watch them, i dont pay attention, and i dont buy or support virtually anything that is nominated. All those nominations for a girl who cant sing, and cant tour due to vocal problems at age 23. No its not a natural occurring thinig, its her vocal technique. She pushes her chest voice WAY too high and strains the chords. its a joke...
