Guns N' Roses -- Hamilton, Ontario -- November 28th, 2011
Opening band: The Pretty Reckless
Since You're Gone Light Me Up Miss Nothing Zombie Just Tonight Goin' Down My Medicine Like a Stone [Audioslave] Seven Nation Army [The White Stripes] Nothing Left to Lose Make Me Wanna Die Factory Girl Cindy Lou Who is the lead singer. ![]() [rant]She kept calling Hamilton "Canada". That made me mad because Canada is so friggin' big and in no way does Hamilton represent all of Canada. I also hate to think that if people do shows in Vancouver they call them Canada and forget about Ontario. I remember when Testament did a show in Toronto, Chuck Billy said "Man we should do a tour of Canada instead of just two cities" and I was thinking "I don't really care as long as you come here"[/rant] Pretty Reckless was pretty(ha!) good actually. Zombie is a good track and the crowd actually was into them a little, especially the covers. GUNS N' ROSES Chinese Democracy Welcome To The Jungle It's So Easy Mr. Brownstone Sorry Shackler's Revenge Estranged Rocket Queen Unknown song, probably a cover Richard Fortus Guitar Solo [James Bond Theme] Live and Let Die [Paul McCartney & Wings] This I Love Sonic Reducer [Dead Boys] [Tommy Stinson on lead vocals] Dizzy Reed Piano Solo [Baba O'Riley] Street Of Dreams You Could Be Mine DJ Ashba Guitar Solo [Mi Amor] Sweet Child O' Mine Instrumental Jam [Another Brick in the Wall Pt. II] Axl Rose Piano Solo [Goodbye Yellow Brick Road/Someone Saved My Life Tonight] November Rain Bumblefoot Guitar Solo [Pink Panther Theme] Don't Cry Riff Raff [AC/DC] Knockin' On Heaven's Door [Bob Dylan] Nightrain Instrumental Jam Madagascar Better Patience Instrumental Jam Paradise City They hit the stage at 10:45PM! This was not too long after the Pretty Reckless left the stage. Axl Rose must love Hamilton. The show was killer and you should go see it even if Axl is the only original member left. The crowd was hot for the whole show but reacted mostly to the obvious hits which is upsetting because Chinese Democracy has some good tracks on it. The show ended at 1:30AM (well that's when I left, I don't know if they played more after Paradise City) Great rock show, you won't be disappointed if you go (unless you are not aware that Slash left, boo hoo). [another Canada rant] The Guns N' Roses shirts said Toronto instead of Hamilton. Come on, that's not even close.[/rant] |

I would suggest the unknown cover is Riff Raff, and where you've got Riff Raff they actually did Whole Lotta Rosie. Both AC/DC covers, obviously.
Good to see yet another person actually able to watch a GN'R show for the great show it is.
