Graf Orlock – Doom Box Wow Tombs was an awesome surprise as number one. I am really happy with "Atma" placing so high. They really deserve all the recognition, they can get. Rwake, Deafheaven, Hammers of Misfotune and Disma are criminally low. Lack of Altar of Plagues, Leviathan, Flourishing, and Giant Squid sucks though.

Solid list. Opeth and Mastodon are way to high for me. Glad to see Yob, 40 Watt Sun, Tombs, Subrosa, and Graveyard among a few others getting some love.

Disturbing lack of Wolves in the Throne Room and that terrible Opeth album at #2 is laughable, but hey, Fucked Up!

Pretty solid list, quite a few that are very high on my own list. Hate Eternal is way tooooooooooo high though. It's a good record, but it's not nearly as good as a lot of people are making it out to be.

The World is Yours should count as a 2011 release since the official release was in January.
