Maybe if the list was to 200. But 100? Hell no. Not after 40+ years of the shadows cast by Hendrix, Page, Clapton, Beck and the like.
IMO, The Beatles have made some good music (especially their "serious" work and the later compositions of Harrison), but the way they get overanalysed, overpraised, worshipped and so on is just ridiculous.

Sure, they've inspired a lot of bands (like Aerosmith), but it's not that they were first with everything.

And yes, Lennon's solo work is at times much better than Mccartney's.
