Gotta go with Neurosis. Through Silver in Blood was such an awesome record. I really enjoyed Enemy of the Sun, Times of Grace and Given to the Rising, and Stone From the Sky off A Sun That Never Sets is such a powerful song. That has to be one of THE greatest album closers EVER.

Isis started off really strong with Celestial, but got too mellow with each release after that for me. I only heard up to Panopticon (which has Grinning Mouths, another of the greatest album closing songs ever on it) then lost interest.

Really everything Neurosis put out since Times of Grace has bored me a lot but Through Silver in Blood is just so phenominal.

Not a big fan of either but Neurosis definitely seems better.

Fuck this choice. I used to listen to a ton of Neurosis (like in 6th grade), but now I listen to tons of Isis.

And nothing beats how relaxing it is to stand on the red rocks of Sedona, AZ while listening to Altered Course.

I cannot choose.

Now checking out Isis. So far I'm digging Panopticon more than Times of Grace.
