I got there late so I missed Death Angel. Actually we were late because there is apparently one place to eat within 10 miles of the Palladium so the wait was long! In fact, while we were eating, Scott Ian and Rob Caggiano from Anthrax came in for a bite, but despite our waving and pointing to the two empty seats at out table, they left hungry...

Anyway, it was a good set from both Testament and Anthrax. My only beef with the Palladium is that they really need to invest in a spotlight or two. I mean, every single time Joey was at the edge of the stage, or Rob came forward to play a solo, they were silouetted against the background. Yeah sure, it looks cool, but sometimes you actually want to see them play! (And this seems to be a venue issue, not a band issue. I saw GWAR there a couple of weeks ago and it was the same deal).

Anyone notice that Anthrax's main set is getting shorter and shorter and their encore is getting longer and longer?

I was at the show. It was amazing. The Ninja's were out in a small group that night but didn't last long when things like Indians were going.
