You're right. BUT (and yes I'm making a crass generalization here), look at most SS fans. You think they have $? Nope. Bunch o' broke ass kids for the most part. A MH headliner is probably going to be somewhat expensive. I don't see most SS fans shelling out $30-40 for a show.

This show is at Station 4 in St. Paul. There's no way this tour is going to coast more then $25.

Hell, I paid $22 for Children Of Bodom/Devin Townsend/Obscura/Septic Flesh

It's $20 here. They will pay that. There were kids paying $22 to go to the Underoath show here so they could Dance to one of the local openers

Shit, I'm just used to Montreal shows, which are always more expensive. Yep, there will definately be idiot SS kids at em all, then.

Hmmmm, the Toronto date is on a saturday. Might be worth putting up with the shitty venue and shitty support acts to watch some Machine Head.

Toronto on a Saturday? Think I'll be there. And it's huge that they've moved up from the Opera House (their last headlining gig here) to the Sound Academy, completely bypassing the Phoenix and the Warehouse (which probably makes no sense to anyone outside Toronto.)

When I saw Megadeth in 2009 with both Machine Head and SS moronic kids would pay $44 and then they just left after SS. Not that I minded being rid of them.

Did they actually leave the venue, or just leave the area and drift near the back for the rest of the bands?

I'm not sure exactly but I know in line before the doors opened they kept saying they only cared about SS and they didn't know anything about the other bands. I'd assume some stayed out of curiosity but a lot probably left.
