One of the first shows I ever went to I got knocked out on the guard rail by some Karate kicking asshole.

Whats wrong with just headbanging and enjoying the show?

Honestly, I agree with you that moshing can get on my nerves, but it can be fun with a cool crowd. Usually for me though, Florida is full of asshole moshers. But it's can be fun and you can't blame people for wanting to go super crazy.

Because moshing is more fun! I dunno, I've grown up always being physically active, playing football for a long time, etc. I enjoy the adrenaline rush of hitting people/getting hit.

Thing is they won't bring more bands like Machine Head in they will bring stuff closer to Suicide Silence. Kids up here love that stuff. I can guarantee atleast 5 people I know are only going to this show to HxC Dance. Thrash and Burn is coming up here and this part of the state is going crazy for it.

If I have the money I will make an appearance. It's only $25 day of show so if worse comes to worse I will get a ticket day of because it won't sell out.

Suicide Silence's crowd isn't as bad as it used to be. Last 3 times I've seen them there has been little to no hardcore dancers also. Then again it depends on who they play with. At mayhem fest there were no dancers whatsoever, just circle pits pretty much. With them playing with Machine Head I doubt there will be many, if any dancers at all.

I like to say that but there were hardcore Dancers at ANTHRAX...Maine's core scene down this way is huge I am expecting a full army of them.

I get why people do it. It's just not for me. Never will be. I'm a musician first and foremost, not just a music fan. I'm there to see the bands.

Jan. 27 - Montreal, QC @ Metropolis

Will be there. Tix at this venue are usually pretty expensive, though. Other than that, it;s a solid venue.

Suicide Silence on any bill is sure to bring in morons. When Carcass came through almost 3 years ago, Suicide Silence played right before them and kids actually left after SS!
