Whitechapel - Recorrupted EP

News of the EP has been around for a while, but the pre-order is up now.

http://whitechapel.merchnow.com/products/133455

I thought the EP was going to be all new material, so the track list surprised me.

1. Section 8
2. Strength Beyond Strength (Pantera Cover)
3. Breeding Violence (Big Chocolate Remix)
4. This Is Exile (Ben Weinman Remix)
5. End Of Flesh (Acoustic)

Pointless remixes, a likely horrible acoustic song, and a cover? I was expecting them to record the rest of the songs their guitarist wrote, but I guess they decided one was enough...

On the other hand though, it's weird to see how popular Cameron (Big Chocolate) is getting. I was a fan of his band when he was still in high school and now he's actually getting somewhere with his music.

I just want to hear the cover. Hopefully they don't over-deathcore it.

Section 8 is pretty fucking good, but I expect the rest of the EP to be shit. The Pantera cover makes me really nervous.

Yea Big Chocolate is actually pretty huge right now. I saw him at Warped Tour this year finally and I got on the rail but he had a HUGE crowd and actually a pretty crazy show. Plus hes constantly touring.

Section 8 is great. I REALLY want to hear this acoustic cover! Phil sings, maybe?

Nope.
Also the whole EP is on the dude's account. The Pantera cover isn't that bad.

Yeah, it isn't bad at all! I remember that Upon A Burning Body did a cover of 5 Minutes Alone once, and it was decent also.

Section 8 was disappointing. Haven't really dug the bands last 2 albums, but the singles were usually solid. Section 8 was very average to me.
