many people WILL leave!!

Its not a club on a college strip, where you can stay up late and skip class the next day. Its a fucking arena, and he's the entertainment for the night before we go back home to bed to wake up the next day and go to work, so we can buy tickets to more important shows!

Example: the next night (Friday) is Judas Priest in IZOD
and Saturday is Manowar down the pike in Slayerville!

Fuck yeah!

I'm sure he's on tour to pay some 15 year old studio bills, and because he probably got wind that GnR were gonna be nominated for the R&R hall of shame. Big fucking deal.

if no one else posts it. i'll do it tomm. oh yeah, the place went absolutely apeshit when he did the Misfits set with his band and Jerry Only. WOW!

Anyways, I already complained about the set being the same as the Riot Fest. I was hoping for more than 9 Misfits songs and 7 Samhain songs. You should definitely post a review of the show

Yes, Set is the same as the chicago riot thing.

would yall believe C.O.C. opened and another band Ikillya?? before i got there.
no openers were listed anywhere!

tickets said doors 6p. first band started at 7:30

But seriously, that's fucking lame. He's advertising this as a once in a lifetime tour where he's going to play a bunch of old shit, then ends up doing 20 minutes of Samhain and 20 minutes of Misfits. People are going to expect to hear at least 30 minutes from each..

COC has been announcing that they are opening the shows for NYC and LA. I kept posting updates on here about the DL shows...

Doors were at 8, opener at 9. I looked at the call sheet that security had and it had "GNR: 10:30pm - 1:30am". The opener played 15 minutes longer than they were suppose to, but still it was an hour and a half wait.

Sadly not too good. Iron Maiden doesn't sell out the arena's in Florida, but they at least pull in enough to need to have the upper bowl open, GNR didn't have them at all, they were black curtained off so you wouldn't notice only the lower bowl was open. I would say... 8k-10k. It holds 16k for concerts.

Fort Lauderdale was sold out in '09 and I think Tampa was sold out this year? Or at least looked like it. I know Lauderdale definitely wasn't sold out this year.

I remember checking last minute for 09 and they had seats for sections like, 404 Seat 26 Row ZZ

They just kept releasing tickets for it. Tampa was near sold out too because it brought in a lot of central Florida.
