Really? Two songs that get played on classic rock radio counts as many hits? Whiskey In The Jar doesn't count because everybody knows that one because of Metallica.

BLS got some radio play back when Stillborn came out. Bottom line is nobody has given a damn about Lizzy in years and that BLS is the more well known band that will sell more tickets today. The sooner all the Lizzy fans accept that the faster we can be done with this debate.

It's not about who's been around longer or more talented. It's about who people are more willing to pay money to see.

This. I can't stand people who get butthurt over things like this. Do I think some bills are messed up (Megadeth's slot on Mayhem, Dark Tranquility opening for TDWP and KSE), yes, but I'm not going to constantly complain about it. It all comes down to the economics of things.

So stoked that they are playing the full length set from the Euro tour. I thought for sure the setlist would have gotten shortened. November 1st can't come soon enough. Nice to see BLS getting a longer set too.

A Thin Lizzy "tribute" band?! Really? A band featuring the great Scott Gorham and Brian Downey (two original members, by the way) is a "tribute" band? Don't think so. Phil Lynott killed himself with drugs and alcohol and the other members are supposed to sit at home on their asses and not play music? Fuck that!

And anyway, a Thin Lizzy "tribute" band is better than a 2nd rate Alice In Chains wanna-be band featuring Ozzy's 3rd best guitarist.
