I can't stand BLS..I know a lot of people really dig them though.. wish Thin Lizzy was direct support and played more songs actually.

Still have no idea how Thin Lizzy, even at tribute band status, is opening for BLS...smh

Anyway, this looks like a pretty killer show. Hopefully I can catch the tour when it comes to NJ next month.

This is proof that even with opening acts, bands who tour the USA can in fact play extra long sets.

Wrong. Saw Thin Lizzy on their own in March. There were TONS of those people there. Why? Because the average "Oh I heard that song on the radio" Thin Lizzy "fan" doesn't even know that Phil's dead, let alone what the current lineup of the band is like.

wish Priest was playing more songs from Sad Wings... but it's a good setlist overall. I'm pretty sure it's not going to change at all for the entire tour from what Halford said anyway.

Looks like the OP is gonna have to edit the BLS set. Darkest Days, Born To Lose and The Blessed Hellride have been edited out on setlist fm. Which makes more sense actually because there's no way BLS is playing a headlining set as an opener.
Since Thin Lizzy is nothing more than a high profile tribute band at this point they shouldn't get the main support over BLS. If Phil was still alive and playing with them you certainly could make a good case for it. But you really can't right now.

You gotta be kidding me
Lizzy has many hits where as BLS has never even been on radio.
Thank God Im seeing this in Vegas so I can leave the show head to the casino and goof around after Lizzy. I love hard metal but BLS has just never done it for me or anyone I ever knew.
