Sykes and Portnoy working together!

I saw on That Metal Show, whose guests just happened to be John Sykes and Mike Portnoy, that they are actually working together and have already laid down about 12 demos.

They didn't provide any other news (like band name or singer) so speculate away!!

John

PS. I apologize if someone already posted this, I went back to well before the broadcast and didn't see anything about it.

You scared the fucking shitballs out of me for a second there.

And another Portnoy project with some classic rock/metal musician? Sounds like a great recipe for some cool story bro

So how many different projects is Mike Portnoy working on? Feels like I hear about a new one every other day.

Saw that episode too. They said Sykes was singing and then praised his singing for 10 minutes. hahaha I'd check it out. I never got into Blue Murder but might have to check them out after watching that.

Could care less about Portnoy's involvement, if anything it will probably make me like the project less than I otherwise would - but I can't help but be excited about a new John Sykes project, especially if he's singing.
