New song sucks. Really boring and seems like it's missing the aggression, which is basically the entire point of Anaal Nathrakh

Naw man. You're high. Sounds like something off of Hell Is Empty and is a throwback with those insane vocals.

And anyways - the entire album is fucking amazing. Better than their last two by far.

"Missing the aggression." Pfft, get a load of this jabroni.

There's not as many frilly distractions on this album as the others. Not to say I don't love those frilly distractions, but it's nice that they get back to their roots with Vanitas.

Hur durr

To me it just seems like filler. It sounds like Anaal Nathrakh and that's about it

There's like 3 riffs in the whole song and the drum programming is boring. Passion blew me away at first listen and this is just extremely underwhelming

You are cray. They are refining their sound and taking out everything unnecessary and focusing on making a concise, brutal package of the essentials of intense necro metal and none of the other shit.

That may have been what I liked about Passion, just the overall uniqueness from the blending of styles.

This just seems bland to me. To each his own

Eh, to me, Passion seemed like they were missing the original focal point of what makes The Codex Necro such a unique and undeniably insane brutal piece of art.

Siding more with Brian on this one. It's just another Anaal Nathrakh track and overall okay song. In fact I hope it's filler because if this is one of the better tracks.. but I've felt like they should slow down with their releases for years now. Hell is Empty is the last really great record they did.
