Pallbearer 2012 Release

For anyone that cares, Profound Lore is releasing Pallbearer's debut, entitled "Sorrow and Extinction," in Feb 2012. I've been waiting a while for this.

I always wondered how this guy would sound in a band:

Oh wait....

Also from Profound Lore's FB page:

"The haunting mindfuck debut album from OCCULTATION will be entitled "Three & Seven" and will be unleashed this spring. We will be bringing awareness to the album in North America while Invictus Productions will be handling the release in Europe."

This will probably be killer as well.

Yeah, I listened to it a few weeks ago. It's why I said the album will probably be killer. It's like Negative Plane except weirder, and with cooler vocals.

I'm waiting anxiously for this. Oh and btw it wasn't an EP, if I remember correctly, it was a demo. Brett did clean vocals on a song on the new Loss record too.

I gave in and listened to a song from the new album and it was pretty awesome but I'm guessing the album is going to only get better from there!

I'm guessing that song was "An Offering of Grief." I really don't anticipate this album being close to the caliber of Despond, just judging from that one track. But I still think this will be a damn solid release.

Brett's voice sounded better on the Loss track than the Pallbearer track, I thought.

Yeah Despond was just destined to be immense after being in the works for more than seven years.

I think his clean vocals really suited the dynamics of "Silent and Completely Overcome" so I agree with you there. This should be a good listen nevertheless.
