Ghost Division Panzer Battalion Screaming Eagles The Art of War Cliffs of Gallipoli 40:1 Metal Ripper Evergrey: Leave It Behind Us The Masterplan Rulers of the Mind Blinded Solitude Within Mark of the Triangle As I Lie Here Bleeding Monday Morning Apocalypse Wrong Watching the Skies I'm Sorry Frozen -- When the Walls Go Down Recreation Day Broken Wings A Touch of Blessing Yeah, they were really, really awesome. The Absence opened but we missed their set. Powerglove were fucking terrible as always. Sabaton were incredibly goddamn awesome and I'm pissed I never checked them out before this show. Can't wait to delve into their catalog. Evergrey were just as good (though notably probably not definitely better, which I guess is a bummer somehow). Highlights for me were Wrong (the way Tom sings the last chorus a cappella live is just...  ), Mark of the Triangle, Recreation Day, and A Touch of Blessing, the song that got me into the band over six years ago. Awesome night!

A very good show. Sabaton were so much fun. I've never smiled so much at a metal show. They were high energy and clearly having a good time. They got me to jump along to a song for the first time in my life. That's something to brag about. The set Brad posted is definitely out of order, but all the songs are there.
Evergrey were amazing. The crowd consisted of at least twenty-five over-40-year olds, and they didn't move, chant, throw horns, or in any way show feedback to the band. That plus the very low attendance (120-140 people) clearly threw the band off ever so slightly. But hopefully I made it up to them by singing very loudly and fist pumping. Overall, a great concert. (Except for Powerglove.)

Because wank metal versions of video game songs is already stupid, and then they basically suck at it on top of that, and then their stage presence is obnoxious and nerd-pandering and stupid socially awkward 17-year-olds think they're awesome not despite all that, but for it.

They are also very boring on stage. The music is fast and admittedly catchy, but they aren't a fun band on stage. They just dress silly and stand there.

I'll be at Evergrey Tuesday, planning on a full review and hopefully pictures (maybe a setlist if I'm very lucky or ask Swordlord nicely
 )I'm also going go try to get Tom Englund to do a Station I.D for me for my show, that would be fucking amazing.
