Queensryche vs. Queensryche. Both bands have a new song from their upcoming albums.

Both bands have released a song from their upcoming albums so let's put them head to head and see which one members on here like the best. What's your favorite?

"Redemption" from Queensryche with Todd La Torre:

"Cold" from Queensryche with Geoff Tate:

My vote goes to QR with Todd. It sounds like the real, heavy metal, hard rocking QR that I know and love again! Geoff's isn't too bad actually, but it doesn't really sound like QR instrumentally. It would have been pretty good as a GT solo song.

I'm on the real bands side without any doubt. And they're the ones I'd see live if I were to see a Queensryche live. As far as I'm concerned, there's a Queensryche and a Geoff Tate solo project.

That said, I think Cold is a better song.

You're really hung up on this aren't you?

Cold is MUCH better, incidentally.

Cold sounded part awesome and part douchebag radio rock. Redemption sounded great vocally, but the instrumentals were okay if a bit boring at times. That's just my opinion as the most casual of casual Queensryche fans.

Hey Fonz, did you even think about getting help for this insane Queensryche obsession you've developed?

I like Redemption better but that's not saying much. It's a good song but nothing special. As for Tatesryche, the new song is boring and goes nowhere, just like most of the stuff they've done since Q2K.
