Arch Enemy -- Toronto, Ontario -- September 14th, 2011

What a show and a half. All the band kicked ass and had great energy.

First band was the Taiwan based band Chthonic. Never heard of these guys before, but they weren't bad.

Next up, Skeletonwitch. 5th time seeing them and they just blow me away everytime. 3rd song into their set I cracked my head open. Its not a metal show till blood is drawn lol. Here's their set

Upon Wings Of Black
Submit To The Suffering
Crushed Beyond Dust
Reduced To The Failure Of Prayer
Beyond The Permafrost
Sacrifice For The Slaughtergod
Strangled By Unseen Hands
Infernal Resurrection
Longing For Domination
Within My Blood

Next up was probably the band I was most excited for, Devildriver. Second time seeing them now. Fuck these guys are just heavy as shit live. The pit just erupted. Even with a cracked open head I still was in there. They just kicked ass. Here's their set

End Of The Line
Hold Back The Day
Dead To Rights
Clouds Over California
I Could Care Less
Not All Who Wanders Are Lost
Head On To Heartache
Pray For Villains
Before The Hangman's Noose

Last band of the night, Arch Enemy. First time seeing them and they put on a great performance. In my personal opinion, they played a little too much from the new album. I definitely would've prefered some more stuff off of Anthems or Doomsday. But other than that, they were great. Here's their set.

Khaos Overture
Yesterday Is Dead & Gone
Enemy Within
Revolution Begins
Ravenous
Bloodstained Cross
Chris Amott Solo
Under Black Flags We March
Dead Eyes See No Future
Michael Amott Solo
I Am Legend (Out For Blood)
No Gods, No Masters
Dead Bury Their Dead
------
Snow Bound
We Will Rise
Nemesis
Fields Of Desolation (Outro)

Went to the Montreal show a day before this date. It was awesome, I thought Arch Enemy's setlist was ok, what a fuckin' voice she has...

And DevilDriver's setlist should have been more longer, their energy was exceptional.
