Moonspell -- Kavarna, Bulgaria -- July 16th, 2011

I mentioned in another thread that Moonspell were getting pretty big in Europe.
This year, prior to the release of their next record, they are touring with a "vintage set", consisting of songs from their Wolfheart and Irreligious albums.
At Kavarna Rock Fest, however, they played what they called "a special set" - the "vintage", plus songs from their highly acclaimed Memorial and Night Eternal records...

01. In Memoriam
02. Finisterra
03. Night Eternal
04. Scorpio Flower
05. Wolfshade
06. Love Crimes
07. ...of Dream and Drama
08. Vampiria
09. Trebraruna
10. Alma Mater
11. Opium
12. Awake
13. Herr Spiegelmann
14. Mephisto
15. Full Moon Madness

Saw them with Danzig/Dimmu Borgir/Skeletonwitch ON HALLOWEEN! in 2008! They kicked ass. Had a ticket to see them with Secrets of the Moon in KC a few years ago but it got moved to a 21+ venue and I wasn't 21 at the time

I saw these guys opening for In Flames in 1999. All I can remember is they played Opium and their drummer looked like a caveman.

I'm not knocking them at all, they were cool.

They've improved a lot since 1999. They actually re-recorded their first two albums recently, and the outcome - Under Satanae - sounds great.
