Dunno if this means anything, but I just got a like from Hour of Penance after posting this on their wall:

"You guys should do Summer Slaughter, just like your brothers in Fleshgod Apocalypse did"

That sounds promising. I have to miss them on the Black Dahlia tour because of work, so I'm really hoping that they're on this.

Plus Alex Webster from Cannibal Corpse was praising them in an interview, so maybe...

But hey, the good news is that Veil of Maya are the only pure deathcore band on the lineup so far.
Veil of Maya is even starting to stray from pure deathcore from the sounds of their new stuff. On the topic of Periphery being on there, they may be a bit out of place, but they are a great band, so it doesn't really matter to me. On the topic of the billing, Exhumed will probably billed over Veil of Maya, Hate Eternal DEFINITELY won't be.

Also I bet I'm the only that is hoping Hate Eternal isn't on there

Maybe Summer Slaughter 2013 can have the reunion of Oceano!

Back on topic though I dig VoM and have only seen them once so it's fine with me that they are on SS.

So far I'm loving this line-up. Not a band I don't like, a millions times better than last year when I had to suffer through Shit Feet Under and Bloceano.

I think VoM is different from the "general" deathcore bands.

And I think this song is a good example of it.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdHpTs-r91k
