Hello Peripherals and metal fans alike, it is with great regret that we must announce Periphery's withdrawal from the rest of the Summer Slaughter tour, due to a family emergency we are unable to continue onto the west coast. We also want to take this moment to thank all the amazing fans old and new who came out to support us on this awesome tour and we also want to thank all the bands we played with, Cerebral Bore, Exhumed, Goatwhore, Job For A Cowboy, Veil of Maya, The Faceless, Between The Buried And Me, and Cannibal Corpse as well as all the amazing crew who made this tour happen - we miss all of you and we had the greatest summer ever hanging and jamming out with all of you. -P:.

Woah, I got the last Periphery interview of the tour. I was not hoping for that at all. I hope everyone in the band will be ok and whoever is afflicted right now will be alright as well.

I wonder if they will find a fill in band, or if they will just give the other bands longer sets.

Or on one of the off dates after that are BTBAM/JFAC now.

My roommate's kinda pissed Periphery cancelled now, he's been dying to see them.

There is no point in finding a fill in band now. There's only a few dates left. They will most likely just give a couple of the bigger bands a longer set. or give BTBAM room for one more song.

They did put on a killer set in Milwaukee.

Maybe they will actually play a pre-Colors song

Before Friday Night I saw BTBAm Twice. Once in 2007 and Progressive Nation 2008. I only heard Colors at both shows.

Don't get me wrong, I love the album to death. But Ive now seen White Walls 3 times in a total of 2 and a half hours of shows (Colors played in full in 2007, half hour at PN 2008 and this summer Slaughter)

To hear Selkeis or Mordecai would be jizz inducing.
