I wish they would release a new album. Does anyone know why they haven't done one in so long?

From Wikipedia:

In 2011 while on the Aqualung 40th Tour, Anderson mentioned in an interview that Jethro Tull will be recording a new album this fall/winter with a potential release date set for Spring 2012. This will be their first new studio album in 12 years. Their last studio album of new material was "Dot Com" in 1999. Anderson's solo tours and Jethro Tull have been performing some of the new material on their past tours for the past 2-3 years.

Yeah, the site just got updated, it's the Aqualung set.

Edit: Look's like Ian Anderson's gonna do a (solo?) Thick As A Brick tour. http://www.jethrotull.com/news/taabtour2012.html

The link doesn't mention Tull in any of the tour details, but that would seriously suck if Martin Barre wasn't with him shredding like hell. Oh and those other guys would be cool too I suppose.
