I like them on record, but I've only seen them live once in '08, and from what I remember I had fun. So I'd have to see them again to give a better opinion.
5/20: Rotten Sound

Where's the "I want to kill them all while I'm witnessing it" option?

Where's the mediocre option? I mean they're not shit, but they aren't good either.

I have seen them 5 times (tied with BTBAM for the band I've seen the most live) and their performances have been completely across the board. I think their studio stuff is subpar (except for The Cleansing, that album fucking blows.) Here are the scores from the 5 times I've seen them..

1st Time (Mayhem 08) 2.5/10
2nd Time (NEMHF 09) 7.5/10
3rd Time (Warped Tour 10) 6.5/10
4th Time (Rock and Shock 10) 4/10
5th Time (Mayhem 11) 5/10
9/18 Fall of Troy
9/19 A$AP Rocky
10/3 Revocation/Archspire
11/15 Parkway Drive

Suicide Silence = very good live. Not quite as good as their records, though. Which I love. I don't think that's an option, though. And I think Whitechapel is slightly better sounding live, even though Mitch knows how to work a crowd better than Phil.
