For the same agreements and the original name’s common ownership, Luca Turilli will release his future works with a new RHAPSODY band, including the faithful band members Dominique Leurquin, Patrice Guers and Alex Holzwarth.

Alex says: “While wishing the best to Luca and his new band, I want to tell you that Fabio and myself feel motivated and stronger than ever and that RHAPSODY OF FIRE are already planning a great worldwide tour. More information regarding the new bass player and the new second guitar player will follow. Stay tuned!”

Damn... I only saw them for the first time in June. I have to admit Fabio looked miserable for the whole show (but he performance was astonishing).

Although, when you read it, they haven't really split up. Two guys have left and the others are carrying on.

Fuck. I would have loved to see Rhapsody of Fire with Luca, but at least they're not completely calling it quits.

Gotta be honest, he added nothing when I saw them. Totally anonymous. They're the Fabio Leone show live.

Really a shame to hear this, I wonder if the replacement they have will continue on with them and can meet the Neo-classical levels left behind by Luca. They haven't played Florida since 2006, hope they come back soon.

I guess that's a bit disappointing, but it makes me feel quite relieved - my experience of seeing Rhapsody of Lione in the future doesn't sound like it will be some horrible parody of their original shows. Definitely hope to see them live. Luca is one hell of a musician, though.
