The Fall of Efrafa

Anyone into these guys? I wanted to create my own thread on this cause I didn't want it lost in the What are you Doing Thread in a matter of a day. I discovered them years ago but haven't listened to them in a long time till just now. They are a post-hardcore, neo-crust, sludge band from the UK. Their music is based on the book Watership Down. They write such epic music with great themes in each song. They wrote a trilogy of concept albums to create their own interpretation of the political and religious ideology in the book. There are a lot of great instrumental parts in their songs and then it goes back to the crust they love to play. If you like Pelican, then you should check these guys out. Hopefully I can create some new fans with this thread...

These guys are great! I only have Inlé, but it's a phenomenal record. If you like The Fall of Efrafa, you need to check out Light Bearer. They're the after math of TFOE's break up. Their debut album, Lapsus, is one of the best albums I've heard all year.

Not completely, but some of the same dudes. Their sound is pretty similar, as you could imagine. I'll look into that Owsla for sure.

I'm glad it has the same singer, or at least it sounds that way. I just downloaded their cd. I'm about half way through it and digging it so far. It sounds a bit different that TFOE but its still awesome.
