You got 3 albums in before you gave up? Lulz.

Sounds like Nu Metal in and of itself.

I'll always love self-titled just for nostalgic reasons. Without it, I might never have made the transfer to extreme metal. And it's such an emotional record, one of the most emotional I've ever heard, just in a really different kind of way.

Trolling gets tiring after a while I guess.

All right, it's been a while, and now I don't remember why I'm putting this up so high in the rankings. But whatever. Let's go:

6. Linkin Park - Meteora

It's not my favorite Linkin Park album (obvious favorite is obvious) but it's definitely not bad. In fact, it's pretty damn good. On this one they started venturing more into softer, more commercial territory (Breaking the Habit, Numb, Somewhere I Belong), but there's still a lot of heavy nu-metal stuff. Their songwriting definitely improved on this one, too.

first time I heard Faint I was blown away and thought it was just about the god damn heaviest song ever. Be buttravaged all you want, but LP's first two albums (+ that first remix album) are 100% A+ Would listen again. They need to do a tour and play only songs from those two.

Reveille - Bleed the Sky

Best nu-metal album ever.
