My favorite Slipknot record, an a real eye-opener for me. I remember stumbling upon (sic) one day in 7th grade, knee deep in my Metallica phase, and I was forever changed. I remember downloading the album, and trying as hard as I could to hide that fact from my parents, but they eventually found it, made me delete it, grounded me, and took away my mp3 player.

I listen to this album, and it's just in a totally different league from every other nu-metal album. There is way, way more intensity here than any of their contemporaries. It's fast as hell, so I can totally see the death metal influence. Eyeless still has one of my favorite breakdowns ever at the very end. (sic) was the first song with screaming I ever heard. I just remember listening to that song over... and over... and over... and it still doesn't get boring. Oh, and:

YOU CAN'T KILL ME 'CAUSE I'M ALREADY INSIDE YOU
YOU CAN'T KILL ME 'CAUSE I'M ALREADY INSIDE YOU
YOU CAN'T KILL ME 'CAUSE I'M ALREADY INSIDE YOU
YOU CAN'T KILL ME 'CAUSE I'M ALREADY INSIDE YOU

SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIC!

All right, it's probably gonna be another week until I post another album, as I am going on a backpacking trip and won't be back until Thursday. And even then it may be a while...because, you know, I'll be in college and stuff
