I sure hope it's A New Era or at least Exile. Could never really get into what I've heard from their first album. That being said, I'm not a huge fan by any means to begin with, I just dig a few songs off the last 2.

It's going to be the first album. JD talks about how much he loves it all time. I like Whitechapel to an extent, but I have to say their debut is easily their weakest.

Vince raises some valid points, but same ith Century Media. I don't know who to really trust on this whole debate.

You could just YouTube it... and if you are getting into them for the first time, check out the songs I mentioned/linked. There's a lot of mediocre filler on the album.

So for a top ten of a genre you claim to like the 10 & 9 selections are albums you think are fun but don't take seriously and an album with mediocre filler tracks?

Yep! This is deathcore, we're talking about. And the good of those albums far outweigh the bad, hence why I include them. Unbelievably there isn't much "perfect" deathcore albums out there in my mind. Just because I don't take Emmure seriously doesn't mean I don't enjoy their album, and just because The Cleansing is too long and has filler doesn't mean the best cuts of that fillet aren't incredibly tasty. Understand me?

And for clarification, this isn't exactly a "THESE ARE THE BEST DEATHCORE ALBUMS EVER" list, just more like the deathcore albums I enjoy/respect the most, and help represent what "deathcore" means to me. These albums embody why I like deathcore. I'm not trying to find the most relatable deathcore albums for pure metalheads; Treghet already made that list. So yeah. Stay tuned! I'll try to win you all over to give these albums a listen and/or a second opinion.
