I enjoyed it but it's not amazing. I prefer the other 2 albums over it though.

Yep. This. New Era was really good, but it had some very boring moments. Most metalheads would probably like it more since they cut out most of the breakdowns, but ME GUSTA los breakdowns!

Phil's highs were fucking incredible on it though. Goddamn!

Yup, pretty much. "Breeding Violence" still sucks, though.

Agreed I never liked it. Devolver, Reprogrammed to Hate, and The Darkest Day of Man are all incredible songs IMO.

New Era and TSD could have been done by completely different bands. That's how much they grown. I still think TSD is great, but I think it had a couple boring parts as well. Plus I think the breakdowns in New Era were done a bit more tastefully.
