I have spoken to one of the Admin's of this board IN PERSON about this very topic. He agrees 100% that the GENERAL FORUM is fair game.

If you are not interested, don't click on it.

What makes even less sense is that not only would you click on it, but even bother to reply to it.

That would basically be the same as my complaining about a Blink 182 thread in the general forum, and cry that they are not metal. It's GENERAL, meaning anything goes, and yes, that would include SPAM, SALE THREADS, THREADS FROM NON ROUTINE POSTERS, etc..............

And we're just saying that if you 1. Kept all your sale threads into one thread instead of making a new one every time and 2. Actually used this site for something other than just your personal For Sale sign, then people might be interested.

This point I can agree with.

There is no Forum rule on ANY forum though I have ever seen which remotely indicates "Sale threads can only come from routine posters"

Though that is EXTREMELY pathetic if you feel one ounce of hate over a thread on a forum. You probably need to find more uplifting things in your life. Just sayin'.
