Both City and United are letting the goals in though...

Both clubs have conceded 3 goals in 3 games, and if you look at the teams putting them in, I wouldn't put it past them to let more in against the likes of Liverpool or Chelsea, not to mention their derby...

If they do anything like they did in two weeks against Chelsea then I will hand them the title now. But that will be a very telling game for the entire league.
Those goals wouldn't have happened if United were only winning 1-0. They slacked off at the back because they knew it was going to be a goal-feast at the other end. If they needed to protect their lead they would have done.

I think tomorrow is going to be very interesting.

No doubt. Especially for Chelsea. Could add and lose 2-3 players tomorrow.

It was 3-1 by half, you would still assume to protect if you are 3-0 up. I'm saying this because they don't have Vidic or Rio for awhile and in three weeks they had better have them against their first real test of the season. Because Liverpool, none of the big clubs have had to really fight out a win against a consistently quality side.

Israeli papers report a medical for Yossi will be done at Spurs. Player+$$$ for Modric?

Maybe or maybe not. Could just be cover for Van der Vart, who is out with a torn hamstring.

I've gone back and forth on Modric. I'd love to have him but not at 40 mil. Will we sign him? I have no idea. I was sure of it a week ago but now I'm leaning towards no.

I'll be glad at 6pm tomorrow. All the speculation will be over and any deals will be done. At least until January.

Then it's the same shit just new people!

After seeing how much Mata brought to the final 20 he played, in terms of pace, passing, flowing plays, I feel Chelsea are not in that much in need of Modric.

Modric is going nowhere. Though I would happily take 40 mil for that rat-faced bastard. That's alot of dough for a player who doesn't score goals.

No one is in that much need of Modric. He simply isn't that good. But if he does go, it will be for big money because Harry has done his usual media-mongering trick he does with every player he ever sells.

Looks like we'll sign Bryan Ruiz today for 10.6m, and Zdenek Grygera on a free. HOPEFULLY we'll sell Andrew Johnson to Leicester and buy a couple of strikers from somewhere...

That doesn't tell the story of the flow of the game. It was obvious to everyone watching or involved in the game that Man U would score more goals with ease and Arsenal wouldn't have an answer. They had nothing to worry about, which is why they kept attacking.

Also, Smalling and Jones are ample cover for Vidic and Ferdinand. Ferdinand will be fit for the next game anyway.
