Not bad. I'll probably give the rest of the album a listen.

I'm not terribly impressed either, just 2 listens and one song though so I'll hold judgement.

Hey, I want more of a Leviathan/Remission sound here. They lied to us. It's just kind of a stripped-down Crack the Skye from my impressions. It's slow, but not slow and heavy. Or at least not as slow/heavy as their good slow/heavy stuff, like March of the Fire Ants or Trilobite. That's what I want. This... I don't know. It's lacking the crazy arpeggios/progginess of what I like in Blood Mountain, but it doesn't crush the room like a 10 ton gorilla. It's just... meh.

Hopefully they have some more punk-ish, must-circle-pit crazy fast songs, in the vein of Capillarian Crest or Aqua Dementia.

This is just one of fourteen tracks, so I'm sure you'll get what you want.

Absolutely love that first riff, and that middle section with the sweet solo. Troy's vocals are way too weird for me, though. When he sings "I cut off my tongue," he sounds exactly like someone else, but I can't place it at the moment.

One quick listen off You Tube and I can already say I love it. Troy's vocals sound great and I love the riffage. Reminds me of something off Leviathan.
